PROJECT LIFE ARTINA – SEABIRD CONSERVATION NETWORK IN THE ADRIATIC PRESENTED AT LIFE CONFERENCE

Presentation of the project at LIFE Conference

At LIFE Conference, held on Tuesday, Feb 12, 2019, organized by the Ministry of environment and energetics, several projects co-financed under the European financial instrument – Program LIFE were presented.

Programme LIFE supports innovative projects that achieve concrete results in the field of environmental protection, nature and adaptation to climate change. Since 2013 in Croatia, 20 such projects are being carried out. At the conference, among others, our project LIFE ARTINA – Seabird Conservation Network in the Adriatic was presented.

Željka Rajković, from Association BIOM, presented the project. Apart from BIOM, the coordinator, partners on this project are Association for nature, environment and sustainable development Sunce, BirdLife Malta and PI NP Lastovsko otočje.

Also, panel discussion and fair of LIFE projects were organized as part of the Conference where visitors could get more information on the experience of the projects presented.
