The first official meeting of the Project Management Board (PMB) was held on May 7, 2019 in Zagreb. The Board’s task is to plan project activities, ensure good communication among partners, monitor and evaluate the implementation of project activities, anticipate potential risks, address challenges that the project will probably encounter etc. The members of this Board are representatives of Biom Assoc., as leading partner, Public Institution Nature Park Lastovsko otočje, BirdLife Malta and Association for nature, environment and sustainable development Sunce. The Board meets at least every three months during the project implementation. Although all the partners know about project activities, every partner has presented in detail their progress and the challenges they have encountered during the iplementation to the other members of the Board. In addition, partners discussed future plans and activities, and discussed the project’s finances.
During the next day, May 8, 2019, partners presented in details project activities, plans and finances to project monitor, mr. Nikica Skroza from NEEMO. They also discussed with the monitor the challenges they have been facing since the beginning of the project to date.
